c.  If valve is not turned on until main tank is almost empty, engine failure can result since the auxiliary
                   fuel system was not designed to satisfy the fuel consumption requirements of the engine under all
                   conditions.


            C.  How Attached and Where Located:
               The placard is in decalcomania form and should be located as follows:


               a.  In Model 7 series airplanes – on 3-546 left side panel immediately adjacent to the 1-2743 “Off-On”
                   placard through which the shaft of the auxiliary fuel valve passes.

               b.  In Model 11 series airplanes – On 7-601L front panel immediately adjacent to the 1-2868 “Off-On”
                   placard through which the shaft of the auxiliary fuel valve passes.


            D.  Production Line Changes:
               a.  This change was incorporated in the production line beginning with Model 11CC Serial No.
                   11CC-224.


               b.  The change is not necessary in Models 7CCM, 7DC and 15AC airplanes.

               c.  The placard will be included in all future 7-565 and 7-530 auxiliary fuel tank kits.


            HOW OBTAINED:
            The 1-3416 placard will be furnished at no charge by writing directly to Aeronca. For each placard order,
            be sure to state the serial number of the airplane for which it is intended.
