Introduction
This Parts List covers the Piper FAMILY CRUISER (Model PA-14). The main points to keep in mind while using
this Parts List are:
PER SHIP COLUMN represents total requirements for entire airplane. The single and double asterisk (*) (**)
employed throughout this Parts List were used exclusively to designate the following:
Single Asterisk (*): Parts used only on PA-14 Airplanes Ser. No’s. 14-1 to 14-204 incl. (1948 Model)
Double Asterisk(**): Parts used only on PA-14 Airplanes Ser., No’s., 14-490 and up (1949 Model)
Items not marked with a single or double asterisk are used on both 1948 and 1949 Model PA-14 Airplanes,
unless otherwise noted.
It will also be noted that no illustrated drawings have been furnished with this Parts List, therefore, selection
of parts must be made by Part Name only. It is not believed that this will hamper rapid selection or parts a as
very appropriate names were given the parts, indicating their location on the airplane.
