Product Description

Univair's strut barrel is ready for welding, but must have the threads chased with a number 7⁄16-20 NF-HS-GH1 tap or thread chaser of the same size AFTER being welded into the strut. DO NOT attempt to screw the threaded strut fork in the barrel before the welding and chasing is completed. Threads in the barrel may be checked after chasing with a Go-No Go gauge from the Van Keuren Company.
